Erica Edmonds

Erica is an American songwriter, singer and actress. At the age of seven, Erica stood on the stage of an Indianapolis concert hall performing duets with CCM and Gospel Music Legend Sandi Patty. “As a child I had a passion for singing and songwriting”. By the age of three she began training in voice and dance. Her introduction to the music industry came in the 90’s when she joined EMI’s, Lamar Campbell & Spirit of Praise. Shortly after, Erica began shuttling between Indiana, Los Angeles and Atlanta, singing with various female groups (one of which included R&B singer, KeKe Wyatt). As a teen, her professional experience began as a studio session singer. Her distinct sound began being heard on the hooks of popular songs, including a number one Billboard Hot 100 hit, entitled Lately (released by R & B group, Divine). In 2001, she released her first independent solo album and by 2005 she was recruited by multi-platinum recording artist, Kirk Franklin. As a singer on Franklin’s 2005 certified Platinum album entitled Hero, Erica has toured nationally and internationally. Erica has appeared on BET, TBN, the Grammy, Dove, Trumpet and Stellar Awards. She has collaborated with Kirk Franklin, Isaac Carree of Men of Standard, Q Parker of 112, Lamar Campbell and former Commissioned member and producer Montrell Darrett, just to name a few.
